A Draft error means the drafting model did not return a result Deloosh could safely accept. Retry the action; if it fails repeatedly, contact support with the time of the attempt and the error shown in the Workbench.
Why generation can fail
The drafting request can fail because the model service could not be reached, returned malformed output, omitted required subject variants, or did not provide the structured claim-use information the safety gate needs. Deloosh fails closed instead of turning an incomplete response into an email draft.
This differs from a content refusal. A refusal means Deloosh received draft content but a deterministic check rejected it. A generation error means no trustworthy draft result was available to validate and release.
What is recorded
The Signal action is recorded before drafting begins. If drafting raises an error, the action result records the error class and the Workbench says: “The action event was recorded; retry after checking the drafting service.” No draft body is accepted from the failed attempt.
What to do next
- Retry once in case the failure was temporary.
- If the error persists, check that the brief is still present and note the Workbench error.
- Contact support rather than repeatedly changing factual content to work around a service failure.
If the panel says Draft refused instead, use DR-2, Why was my draft refused?.
