Ask it to read anything in your workspace, to explain what it finds, and to do the things you can do yourself — plan a send, draft, edit a block, snooze or dismiss a Signal, pause or resume sending, scan your site. It cannot send email, because no send tool exists.
The composer puts it plainly: “Ask about dormant subscribers, signals, drafts, or vitals.”
What it can read
The assistant can look at your Stream, your Vitals, the plays available to you, whatever is awaiting your decision, a specific draft, and your brand asset library. These reads change nothing — asking “what’s going on?” is always safe.
Everything it tells you about your account is fetched with these tools at the moment you ask. It does not answer from memory or from a general impression of how email usually works. If it cannot fetch something, it says so instead of filling the gap.
What it can do, when you ask
On your explicit request in that turn, the assistant can:
- Build a send plan — a feasibility projection, optionally with a draft. Nothing is dispatched.
- Act on a Signal — approve and draft, request a modification, or explain the reasoning.
- Snooze or dismiss a Signal.
- Edit a draft block — the same annotation and direct-edit lanes available in the Workbench.
- Pause or resume all sending.
- Scan your website — only after you have accepted the scan and given the URL. It never runs unprompted.
Two rules govern all of these. A mutating action happens only when you asked for that action in the current turn — the assistant does not carry forward a “yes” from earlier. And it narrates every mutation it performs, so the conversation is the record of what happened.
While a turn runs, tool chips show what it is actually doing — “checking the Stream…”, “building the draft plan…”, “pausing email activity…” — so the work is visible rather than hidden behind a spinner.
Asking it to teach you
The assistant explains a concept the first time you meet it: what a play is, what a suppression is, why a domain needs authenticating. Ask it to go deeper on anything and it will, in one plain sentence rather than a lecture.
It also states its reasoning when it recommends something. A recommendation without a reason is not a recommendation you can check.
Working across several chats
Your chats are listed in the left sidebar. Start a fresh one with New chat, or select an earlier chat to pick it back up with its history intact. The same sidebar switches the main column to the Stream or the Vitals view when you want to look at the workspace itself rather than talk about it.
If a chat you had open is no longer available, Deloosh tells you and moves you to the next one rather than failing silently.
What it will not do
It will not send email, invent a number, discuss another customer, or promise what a draft will say before drafting it. Those limits are deliberate and worth understanding — see CHAT-2, What the assistant will never do.
