Coverage gap

Last verified

A coverage gap is a fact or source field that the available material does not establish. Deloosh preserves the gap in draft provenance instead of filling it with plausible-sounding copy.

For example, if an exemplar does not establish a conversion result, that unknown remains a coverage gap. A draft that drops the gap from its provenance is refused with coverage_gap_not_preserved.

See DR-2, Why was my draft refused?.
