Plain-language definitions of Deloosh terms.
An artifact, or draft, is a single reviewable email in the Workbench, stored as a structured block document with stable block IDs. Block-level annotations and supported direct edits are live; document-level chat re-drafting remains design-only.
A coverage gap is a fact or source field that the available material does not establish. Deloosh preserves the gap in draft provenance instead of filling it with plausible-sounding copy.
Domain auth is the DNS proof—SPF, DKIM, and DMARC—that mail from your domain is really yours. SPF names permitted senders, DKIM signs messages, and DMARC sets failure policy and reporting.
A dormant cohort is a group with no qualifying recorded click across the configured dormant period and enough delivered marketing emails to support the condition. Opens never count as evidence.
The health light is Deloosh's computed green, amber, or red sending-health summary. It uses seven signal families: bounce and complaint rates, blacklist hits, DMARC pass rate, DNS drift, postmaster reputation, provider-domain status, and per-ISP breakdown; you cannot set it directly.
A holdout is the proposed share of an audience reserved as a comparison group so results can be evaluated against people who did not receive the email. The holdout percentage belongs to the draft proposal, not the send plan.
The ledger-only tier is what Deloosh can do from send history alone before anything is connected. It supports useful work while keeping purchases and other unseen data explicitly out of scope.
Pause is the account-level stop switch for email activity; it holds every send until you explicitly resume. It has no timer or automatic reset, and it does not delete drafts, plans, or approvals.
A play is a named strategy move Deloosh can propose when the evidence fits. Plays come from a governed, closed catalog, so the strategy engine selects an approved move rather than inventing one.
Safe-send-by is the advisory projection in a send plan that compares your deadline with the time needed to deliver an audience at a safe rate. It can recommend split or move deadline, but it does not hold, defer, or spread sends automatically.
A send plan is the pre-flight view of who would get an email, who Deloosh is leaving out, and why, before a send decision. It is an inspection record, not a send, and its safety checks run again at send time.
A Signal is a card where Deloosh flags a condition it found and proposes a known play with the evidence attached. It asks for your decision and does not take the recommended action by itself.
The soft cap and hard ceiling are per-recipient frequency thresholds over a rolling 30 days. The soft cap coaches without blocking; the hard ceiling denies the message. Around 4 and 8 are configurable defaults, not promises.
A suppression is a record that prevents Deloosh from mailing an address because of consent or deliverability evidence. Consent suppressions are reversible after a genuine re-opt-in; complaints, hard bounces, and manual blocks are sticky and require an administrator to clear.
