An “Awaiting your decision” card marks an item that needs the decision path attached to it. For a pending send approval, the card states: “Resolves only through the approval flow — it cannot be dismissed.”
Why different decisions have different rules
The attention queue distinguishes four classes:
- Signal: a detected condition and proposed play; dismissal is stakes-aware.
- Approval pending: a specific action waiting for approval; it resolves only through the approval flow.
- Ambiguity hold: an unresolved uncertainty that must be resolved rather than dismissed.
- Watch confirmation: a confirmation request that can be snoozed but not dismissed.
These policies prevent a consequential decision from disappearing merely because its reminder was inconvenient. The available control depends on the class; Deloosh does not treat every attention item as the same kind of notification.
Today, the attention projection populates Signals and pending approvals. Ambiguity holds and watch confirmations are defined with their stricter policies but are not yet populated by their future flows.
What an approval means
An approval is your explicit yes for a specific action. For sending, that means the exact send awaiting review—not a blanket authorization for future sends or a way to bypass safety checks.
Selecting an attention card opens its detail in the Workbench without resolving it. Review the description, approval identifier, payload, preview, or send plan shown there, then use the appropriate approval flow.
