Dormant cohort

Last verified

A dormant cohort is a group with no qualifying recorded click across the configured dormant period and enough delivered marketing emails to support the condition. Opens never count as evidence.

For example, the dormant-subscribers Signal can identify recipients who crossed both the no-click window and minimum-delivery threshold, then propose the governed sunset play. A recorded click is evidence in the ledger, not proof that a human performed it.

See SIG-7, The dormant-subscribers (sunset) signal.
