The sunset Signal identifies subscribers with no verifiable click across the configured dormant period and enough delivered marketing emails to support the condition. It recommends a governed graceful-exit play so you can stop repeatedly mailing people who no longer engage.
How Deloosh identifies dormancy
The detector uses delivered marketing exposures and verifiable clicks. The Signal shows the applied time window and minimum-delivery threshold in its condition, with evidence pointers to the real ledger rows.
Email opens do not count. Deloosh never reads opens as engagement evidence because privacy prefetch and similar mailbox behavior make them unreliable.
Why the Signal matters
Continuing to email a dormant cohort can increase bounce or complaint risk and damage delivery for people who still engage. The card makes that risk visible without claiming a guaranteed outcome.
The recommended sunset, or graceful-exit, play is a short and respectful exit sequence. It gives genuinely interested subscribers one clear chance to stay, then stops mailing those who remain disengaged.
You still decide
The Signal does not remove contacts or send an exit message by itself. You can inspect the condition, evidence, counterfactual, play, and guardrails before choosing Approve & draft, Modify, Explain more, Snooze, or Don’t remind again.
