Pause is the account-level stop switch for email activity; it holds every send until you explicitly resume. It has no timer or automatic reset, and it does not delete drafts, plans, or approvals.
For example, if you spot a wrong audience, select Pause all in the Vitals view and record the reason. Send attempts remain blocked until a human selects Resume.
