A recipient dossier is one person’s history with you, shown inside the send plan: every message you have sent them, what happened to it, and anything that suppresses them. It is how you check who you are actually about to mail before you approve.
What a dossier shows
Each dossier is one recipient:
- The address.
- A
suppressed:line, in amber, naming the sources — present only if this person is suppressed. See SEND-4, Suppressions: who Deloosh will never email. - A lifecycle timeline of what has actually happened: sent, delivered, clicked, bounced, complained.
That list is exhaustive. There is no “opened” row and there never will be — see SEND-17, Why Deloosh doesn’t show open rates. Every line in a dossier is a real event recorded against a real message.
How to read one before approving
Skim for the shapes that should change your mind:
- Delivered repeatedly, with no recorded click. Delivery and the absence of a click are observable; they do not prove that the person ignored you. Another send may increase fatigue or complaint risk, so review whether this contact belongs in a dormant cohort. See SIG-7, The dormant-subscribers (sunset) signal.
- A bounce. Repeated sending to an address that bounces can put your standing with that mailbox provider at risk.
- A complaint. The recorded complaint produces a sticky suppression that you cannot lift yourself.
- A dense recent history. Check the configured per-recipient frequency threshold before adding another campaign send. See SEND-6, Frequency protection: soft cap and hard ceiling.
- Nothing at all. A recipient with no history is someone you have never mailed — worth knowing before their first impression of you.
Why they are in front of you at approval time
An audience count does not show individual history. Dossiers put recorded recipient-level events beside the approval decision so you can inspect more than the aggregate number.
