Don’t remind again declines a Signal and stops it being raised at you. What happens next depends on the Signal’s severity: an advisory is dismissed on the spot, while a needs attention Signal asks you to confirm and to say why.
Dismissing an advisory Signal
For a low-severity Signal — the ones labeled advisory — Don’t remind again takes effect immediately. The card moves to dismissed and no reason is requested. Deloosh does not put a confirmation step in front of a low-stakes decision.
Dismissing a “needs attention” Signal
For a high-severity Signal, the first click does not dismiss it. The card opens a confirmation step that says:
Not doing this could damage your sending health. Confirm that you want this signal silenced.
You then choose a reason and, optionally, add a note. Select Confirm dismissal to proceed or Cancel to leave the Signal open.
The five reasons

The reason and your note are recorded with the dismissal, so the decision and its rationale stay in your audit trail. They are recorded, not scored: choosing one reason over another does not currently retune the detector or change which Signals you see next.
If a Signal is repeatedly wrong or repeatedly noisy, dismissing it is not the fix — tuning the underlying thresholds is. Raise it in chat.
A dismissal is stakes-aware
Dismissal is not always permanent, and that is deliberate:
- A confirmed high-severity dismissal stays silenced. You looked at the risk and made the call; Deloosh does not overrule you by re-raising it.
- A dismissed advisory is re-armed if the condition gets materially worse. If the same condition later qualifies as high severity, the Signal returns to your Stream as open.
The point is that saying “not now” to a small problem does not permanently blind you to it becoming a large one.
What dismissal does not do
Dismissing a Signal declines the recommendation. It does not remove contacts, change your sending, suppress anyone, or resolve the underlying condition — the dormant cohort is still dormant.
