The Operator Stream is the timeline of what Deloosh found, what you decided, and what the system recorded. Open it with the Operator Stream button at the bottom of the Chats sidebar — it takes over the middle of the screen until you switch back. Items are ordered oldest-first, so the most recent activity is at the bottom.
The Stream has no composer. It is a record to read, not a place to type — asking Deloosh something happens in a chat.
What appears in the Stream
- Signal cards describe a detected condition, the recommended play, its evidence, and what may happen if you do nothing.
- Draft cards tell you when a draft is ready or when drafting was refused, including the rationale and next step.
- Attention cards mark an item awaiting a decision that must follow its approval policy.
- Conversation turns keep your questions and Deloosh’s grounded answers in the record.
- System events record changes such as pauses, resumes, and health updates.
Select a card to inspect its detail in the Workbench, which stays on the right whichever view you are in. Selection does not approve, dismiss, edit, or send anything.
When there is no timeline activity
An empty Stream is not a loading failure — it is the goal state. The empty state shows Decisions awaiting you with the current count.
Loading and error states are explicit and separate: you may see “Loading your stream…” or “Stream unavailable” followed by the error. Those describe whether the timeline could be retrieved, not whether you have a decision to make.
The Stream is an audit trail
The Stream renders the server’s recorded projection. Reloading replays that record, so you can come back to the history of a Signal, a draft, a conversation, or a system event and inspect why it appeared.
Because it is a replayable record, a Signal card you have already dealt with stays in the timeline as history — with its action buttons disabled, since the decision has been made. See SIG-4, Snoozing a signal.
For the panel that opens after selection, see OS-4, The Workbench: inspect before you act. For decision cards, see SIG-1, What is a Signal? and SIG-8, “Awaiting your decision” cards and approvals. For your sending health and the pause breaker, see OS-2, The Vitals view: your sending health at a glance.
