The ledger-only tier is what Deloosh can do from your send history alone, before anything is connected. It is genuinely useful — and Deloosh will be honest about what it cannot see yet.
Your ledger is the floor
Every email you send leaves a record: it was reserved, sent, delivered, bounced, complained about, clicked, or unsubscribed from. That record is your sending ledger, and it is the one data source Deloosh always has. Everything else — contacts, click tracking, purchases — is an addition to it.
The ledger is treated as the floor on purpose. If a data source cannot be read, Deloosh falls back to what it can prove it has rather than to an assumption.
What the ledger alone supports
Sending health monitoring. Bounce rate, complaint rate, sends in the period, and the green/amber/red health light are all computed from your own sending record. A red light stops drafting automatically. See SEND-16, The sending-health light and OS-2, The Vitals view: your sending health at a glance.
Dormancy detection. The one detector live today — the sunset Signal — reads delivered marketing exposures and recorded clicks straight from the ledger. It needs nothing connected. See SIG-7, The dormant-subscribers (sunset) signal.
Protection at send time. Suppressions, duplicate-send protection, per-recipient frequency limits, and role-account rejection are all ledger-driven, and all of them apply from your first send. See SEND-2, Why was my send blocked? (denial reasons index).
Send plans and drafting. Deloosh can resolve an audience, project a plan with its advisory pacing and safe-send-by guidance, and draft the email — all against the ledger. See SEND-11, Reading a send plan and DR-1, How Deloosh drafts your email.
Deliverability defense generally. It is never gated on your plan or on connecting anything. See BILL-2, What you’re billed on (and what you never are).
What the ledger cannot tell you
The ledger knows what you sent and what happened to it. It does not know what anyone bought, and it cannot see clicks unless click tracking is in place. So the revenue-aware plays — post-purchase follow-up, replenishment, cart recovery, win-back — cannot be run from it, and Deloosh locks them rather than approximate them.
That is the honest boundary, and it is drawn where it is because a play built on a guess about revenue is worse than no play at all.
The point of naming the tier
Most email tools ask for everything before they do anything. Deloosh starts with the record it already has, tells you what that record supports, and asks for more only when a specific move needs it — see DATA-5, Connectors: what they are and what they unlock and SIG-10, Why is a play locked (“connect data”)?.
Naming the tier is a way of being precise about the trade: this is what you get for free, this is what is still dark, and here is exactly which of the two you are looking at.
